Big Buck Down (BBD) Outfitters offers world class whitetail deer hunting in and around Southeast Iowa. In Zone 5 and 6. It was Corbin Millard’s dream to start BBD so he could share his love of whitetail hunting with other hunters. The thrill of the hunt never gets old.

“I’ve spent my whole life chasing whitetails in Southeast Iowa,” he says. “I used to sit on cedar limbs next to my dad when I was just 5-years-old, telling him to give me the bow. I couldn’t get enough of spending time in the great whitetail woods.” Millard has been fortunate to take a lot of nice bucks over the years, but he didn’t want to just keep all the fun to himself. So, he decided to make BBD a reality in order to share his passion with fellow hunters who’d like to fulfill their hunting dreams, too.

“My goal is to allow others to experience some of the best whitetail hunting the world has to offer,” he says. With that in mind, BBD puts a strong focus on quality with minimal hunting pressure and property intrusion. We stay completely out of our farms most of the fall to keep the deer feeling zero pressure and therefore providing the best scenarios to kill a mature buck.

It’s all about being in the right place at the right time in order to harvest a trophy whitetail, so that’s what BBD does. We run over 60 cellular trail cameras and are constantly scouting during all the hunts in order to put our hunters in the best position possible. We have exclusive rights to over 6500 acres with 30+ food plots across 50 different farms. Our hunting properties offer a perfect blend of crop, crp, timber and food plots. Hunters appreciate that we take the time to make sure they’re getting what they want out of their hunting trip; we care and it shows.
